Fall Protection/Guardrails: Above, the guardrails are all in place around the open elevator shafts.
The top rail is at 42” +/- 3” and able to withstand 200 pounds of outward and downward force and the midrail is at 21” and able to withstand 150 pounds of outward and downward force, as required by OSHA standards in 29 CFR §1926.501 and 29 CFR §1926.502.
