The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recently published guidance on the use of cloth face coverings by working in hot and humid conditions while indoors.  OSHA recommends that employers follow these practices to protect against the spread of COVID-19 and the risk of heat-related illnesses.

Fall is here, which means it is once again time to turn back time and adjust – that’s right folks, falling back an hour on Sunday November 1^st means enjoying that extra hour of sleep!  But what about our bodies adjusting to that extra hour?

This year’s theme is “Built on Safety”.  This is an industry-wide education and awareness event for the construction industry.  Companies are encouraged to participate to help raise awareness and importance of working injury free.  

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health says counterfeit respirators are being sold in the U.S. and the models, many of which are made in China, may not be capable of providing appropriate respiratory protection. 

Insufficient anchorage strength and inappropriate anchorage connection are two common mistakes made with fall protection equipment. While anchorage connectors are important tools for working at height, they are only effective if used properly.
