Subcontractors are observed to be setting steel posts from a height of over 30 ft. These posts are being transported via proper rigging with no damage to the wire sling or snap hooks.
As a means of fall protection, fully body harnesses attached via self-retracting lanyards to beam clamps are being used. Self-retracting lanyards are in use to reduce the potential free fall distance to below 6 ft.
